A K Type Thermocouple Sensor is a widely used industrial temperature sensor that consists of two dissimilar metal wires — Chromel (positive) and Alumel (negative) — joined at one end to form a sensing junction. When there is a temperature difference between the sensing (hot) junction and the reference (cold) junction, a millivolt signal is produced. This signal is proportional to temperature and can be interpreted by temperature controllers, indicators, or data acquisition systems.
